Our Journey
A Legacy of K9 Mastery
Our journey started over 10 years ago when we started breeding, training, and selling dogs for the Greek police and for dog sport enthusiasts. We then slowly started competing ourselves within the I.G.P.
Our quest and hunger to be the best led us in 2020 to undertake Ivan Balabanov's TWC (training without conflict) certification program where our whole outlook on dog training was completely transformed, we then started seeing everything more holistically. Our approach to dog training and dogs themselves, in general, is completely different than other approaches because of this experience. We specialize in the proper upbringing of puppies and we are very big on things being done the right way from the first moment to avoid problems down the line. With that in mind, In 2022 we started our own training business and Belgian Malinois breeding program under the name of Tsellios K9 Academy.

I would confidently recommend Thanasis Tsellios as a very reputable breeder. The service was very personal and professional. Right from the start full checks carried out to see if I was suitable as an owner of a high drive working dog. Weekly pictures and videos were sent of the puppy as she grew. And full background information was provided up front of both parents.
Thanasis is the best trainer I've worked with. He's deeply devoted to dogs, specialising in high drive breeds, and has spent years finessing modern dog training techniques. He's helped me develop more speed and power in my shepherds obedience by teaching me how to motivate the dog through better play. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others.
Thanasis did an incredible job with our German Shepherd Rafferty who was very reactive to cars and other dogs where it was almost impossible to take him out for walks. Thanasis immediately developed a rapport with Rafferty and was quickly respected by Rafferty. After only about 8 sessions Rafferty now has no issues with cars, we can finally take him for walks without stress.
